Policy Details

This policy defines minimum energy performance requirements for clothes dryers with a rated capacity of https://www.nea.gov.sg/up to 10kg. The revised 2022 MEPS are: EC ≤ [Rated Capacity x 0.55], where “Rated Capacity” means the mass in kilograms of a particular type of dry textiles which, according to the instructions of the manufacturer of the clothes dryer, can be treated in a particular drying program suitable for drying the particular type of dry textile and “EC” means Energy Consumption in kWh per wash.
