Policy Details

This policy defines minimum energy performance requirements for the following refrigerators:
- Refrigerators without a freezer up to 900L:
- Refrigerators with a freezer up to 300L: AEC ≤ [(465 + 1.378 xVadj tot) x 0.427]
- Refrigerators with a freezer > 300L to 900L: AEC ≤ [(465 + 1.378 xVadj tot) x 0.427]
- Refrigerators with freezer and through-the-door ice dispenser: AEC ≤ [(585 + 1.378 x
Vadj tot) x 0.409]

- Vadj tot is defined as the sum of the adjusted volumes of the refrigerator compartments.
- “Through-the-door ice dispenser” means an automatic ice maker coupled with a device that
delivers ice on demand externally through a door.
