Regulations on the Operation of Energy-Efficient Equipment, Energy Efficiency Grade Label for Electric Rice Cooker

This regulation revised energy efficiency grades and labeling for electric rice cooker, pursuant to Article 15 of the Energy Use Rationalization Act. Products in scope include electric rice cookers with a rated voltage of 220 V with a single-phase alternating current, and electric rice cookers with a rated voltage of 220 V and an electric warmer.

Energy Efficiency Grade Index:

The energy efficiency grade index (RRR) is calculated based on the ratio of the energy consumed (Wh/person) for 12 hours (including one night's stay) to the model's standard consumption energy (Wh/person). (Translate from the policy content in Korean)
