This policy establishes criteria for microwave ovens for household use. A microwave oven is an electrical appliance intended for household use that uses high-frequency electromagnetic waves for heating food or beverages, with a rated voltage of not more than 250 V and a frequency ranging from 890 MHz to 6 GHz.
