Source
non-residential ventilation unit -NRVU; means a ventilation unit where the maximum flow rate of the ventilation unit exceeds 250 m3 per hour; and; where the maximum flow rate is between 250 and 1 000 m3 per hour; the manufacturer has not declared its intended use as being exclusively for a residential ventilation application.

This Policy is under review by the European Commission and is expected to be revised in 2025.
