This document applies to electric washing machines and washer-dryers with a single drum (or tub) and a rated washing capacity of no more than 25.0 kg, a single-phase rated voltage not exceeding 250 V, and intended for use by non-professionals in households, shops, schools, and similar settings.
For pulsator-type washer-dryers and drum-type washer-dryers with a rated drying capacity of no more than 1.0 kg, only the washing function is assessed.
