MEPS for Three-Phase VRF Air-Conditioners

A base module/unit of a three-phase VRF air-conditioner (unit efficiency) of all cooling capacities must meet the following Minimum Integrated Energy Efficiency Ratio (IEER): ≥ 4.35.

Integrated Energy Efficiency Ratio (IEER) = (0.020 x A) + (0.617 x B) + (0.238 x C) + (0.125 x D)
where A = COP at full load cooling capacity tested under ISO 15042 T1 condition,
B = COP at 75% part load cooling capacity tested under ISO 15042 T1 condition,
C = COP at 50% part load cooling capacity tested under ISO 15042 T1 condition,
D = COP at 25% part load cooling capacity tested under ISO 15042 T1 condition.
