The ministerial regulation covers home audio equipment. It includes DVD players, mini component audio, micro component audio, and home theater audio that read or record data from a memory card or memory device or receives radio waves and produce audio or visual signals to provide entertainment or information and can operate with the power from the mains electricity supply. This does not include audio equipment for commercial use (professional audio system) and a public address (PA) system.
