Regulations on the Operation of Energy-Efficient Equipment, Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards, and Label for Electric Heater

This regulation revised minimum energy efficiency standards and labels for electric heaters. Products in scope include electric heaters with a total rated power between 500W and 10kW.
The following are excluded from the scope of this regulation:
a) Devices that are both cooling and heating types
b) Devices where the heating element does not directly heat the air
c) Heating devices installed within the structure of a building
d) Central heating systems
e) Heaters connected to air ducts
f) Curtains that include wallpaper, carpets, or flexible heating elements
g) Thermal storage heaters

Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards: 0.84

Heating Efficiency (W/W) = Heating Capacity (W) / Power Consumption for Heating (W)
