This policy covers labeling and minimum efficiency requirements for residential water pumps and residential water motor pumps (using single-phase squirrel-cage induction motors), respectively, and the test methods for verifying compliance therewith. Standard NOM-004-ENER-2014 applies to clean-water pumps and motor pumps with a power rating of 0.187 kW to 0.746 kW.
