This standard defines the minimum energy efficiency requirements of clothes washing machines for household and similar purposes with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V for single-phase AC supply, with or without heating devices, and for cold and/or hot water supply, and having standard washing capacity not exceeding 30 kg.
