This policy defines star labeling requirements and minimum energy perfomance requirements for electric ceiling type fans operated by induction motors and Brushless Electric Motors of all the standard sweep sizes covered under the scope of IS 374: 2019 ( 900 mm, 1050 mm, 1200 mm, 1400 mm, 1500 mm) as amended from time to time that work on single phase alternating current supply up to and including 250V, 50Hz, being manufactured, commercially purchased, imported or sold in India.
