The ministerial regulation covers domestic microwave ovens that use electromagnetic energy in one or more ISM (industrial sciences medicine) frequency bands between 300 MHz and 30 GHz for heating food and beverages. The voltage is not more than 250 volts and the electric frequency is 50 hertz.
