This regulation establishes requirements for electrical safety and energy efficiency labeling of electric water heater types listed in Annex A. This regulation does not apply to instantaneous water heaters and water heaters that use gas, solid or liquid fuels, solar water heaters and water heaters designed for making hot drinks only.
